About the course

The video lectures are designed and developed by COP Education and delivered by Sivarami Reddy Sir, who brings over 10+ years of teaching experience in Engineering Chemistry and Environmental Studies. Course Outcomes

Upon successful completion of Engineering Chemistry and Environmental Studies, students will be able to:

  1. Develop a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts of atomic structure, chemical bonding, oxidation-reduction reactions, mole concept, concentration of solutions, acids, bases, pH, and buffer solutions.
  2. Explain the principles and applications of electrolysis, galvanic cells, batteries, and corrosion, along with methods for corrosion prevention.
  3. Understand the causes of hardness in water and apply suitable methods for its analysis and treatment.
  4. Explain the preparation, properties, and applications of polymers, alloys, nanomaterials, and green fuels, and recognize their importance in engineering and sustainable technologies.
  5. Develop awareness of environmental concepts, pollution, global environmental issues, green chemistry, and sustainable development goals to promote environmentally responsible engineering practices.
  6. Prepare confidently for semester examinations through concept-oriented learning, solved examples, and examination-focused discussions aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
  7. Strengthen competitive examination preparation using additional practice questions, previous-year question papers, and value-added resources designed for APECET and other engineering entrance examinations.
