About the course

The video lectures are designed and developed by COP Education and delivered by Sivarami Reddy (MTech., IIT Bombay), who brings over 10+ years of teaching experience in Engineering Mathematics. Each lecture is developed with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, scientific accuracy, and structured learning. Every topic is explained in a simple, step-by-step manner, enabling students with different learning abilities to understand concepts at their own pace. The lectures incorporate real-world applications, solved examples, examination-oriented problem-solving techniques, and practical insights to help students build a strong conceptual foundation, excel in semester examinations, and confidently prepare for competitive examinations such as APECET and TGECET.

COURSE OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of Engineering Mathematics, students will be able to:

  1. Develop a strong understanding of matrices, determinants, and systems of linear equations, and apply them to solve engineering problems.
  2. Apply the concepts of trigonometric functions, compound, multiple and submultiple angles, transformations, and complex numbers to solve mathematical and engineering problems.
  3. Analyse the equations and properties of straight lines and circles and apply coordinate geometry concepts to solve engineering and geometrical problems.
  4. Evaluate limits and derivatives of functions and apply the principles of differential calculus to engineering applications.
  5. Evaluate indefinite integrals using appropriate methods of integration and apply them to solve mathematical and engineering problems.
  6. Apply definite integration techniques to evaluate definite integrals, mean and RMS values, and perform numerical integration for engineering applications.
  7. Prepare confidently for semester examinations through concept-oriented learning, solved examples, numerical problem-solving, and examination-focused discussions aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
  8. Strengthen competitive examination preparation using additional practice questions, previous-year question papers, and value-added resources designed for AP ECET, TG ECET, and other engineering entrance examinations.
