Language: English, Telugu

About the course

The video lectures are designed and developed by COP Education and delivered by Amdoor Srinivas, who brings over 17 years of teaching experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Each lecture is carefully crafted with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, scientific accuracy, and structured learning. Every topic is explained in a simple, step-by-step manner, enabling students with different learning abilities to understand concepts at their own pace. The lectures integrate concept-based explanations, solved examples, examination-oriented problem-solving techniques, and relevant applications to help students build a strong conceptual foundation, excel in semester examinations, and confidently prepare for competitive examinations such as AP ECET and TG ECET.

COURSE OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, students will be able to:

  1. Develop a strong understanding of the properties, characteristics, and applications of basic electrical engineering materials used in electrical systems.
  2. Apply fundamental electrical laws and principles to analyse DC and AC circuits and evaluate the equivalent resistance of series and parallel resistive networks.
  3. Understand the principles of electromagnetic induction and explain the construction, working, and applications of inductors and transformers.
  4. Evaluate the energy stored in magnetic fields associated with inductors and apply the concepts to electrical circuits.
  5. Evaluate the energy stored in electric fields associated with capacitors and understand their applications in electrical and electronic systems.
  6. Calculate electrical energy consumption in domestic installations, understand household wiring systems, and apply electrical safety practices and energy conservation techniques.
  7. Prepare confidently for semester examinations through concept-oriented learning, solved numerical problems, and examination-focused discussions aligned with the prescribed syllabus.
  8. Strengthen competitive examination preparation using additional practice questions, previous-year question papers, and value-added resources designed for AP ECET, TG ECET, and other engineering entrance examinations.
